- Large buildup of calcium not prevented (looked like a salt plate!!)
- Very soggy as plastic half disintegrates
- No alternative product available on market
Do not buy!! Ruined my machine
These stupid little balls I placed in my water tank, they get caught in the water release valve, blocking it and causing an “empty tank” signal. When I take the tank off the machine - the water pours out over the kitchen. I cannot remove the stuck ones. DeLonghi should not sell this terrible product. Don’t buy it - buy the cartridge instead and save your machine
