Gaggia Classic EVO Inox
Gaggia Classic EVO Inox
After 4 years of use, I unfortunately have to give it an unsatisfactory rating.
The machine is constantly clogged, despite regular descaling and filtered water, and I have had to remove the three-way valve and "blow it out" several times. Descaling every 2 months is not enough, even monthly descaling is no guarantee for a functioning machine.
In addition, it now drips heavily.
Last but not least: there are tiny black particles in the water! The coating of the boiler is presumably coming off, even though only the Gaggia descaler has been used!

Well it seems that not all portafilters fit all machines in the same way. Referring to the 58mm that this Gaggia uses. It is going to be a tough task to find one that fits.
The top edge after 2 weeks of daily usage starts to annoy me but other than that, I knew what I was buying. To get a better product from all the aspects well you have to dig deeper into the pockets like 25k unfortunately but if you want to try this hobby I still say this is a solid start. The review from the kaffeemacher.ch is spot on the money so check that before you decide anything.

Now an integral part of my morning routine. Heats up very quickly and is very easy to use and clean. The perfect machine for my purposes and the amount of time I want to spend making coffee.
You can also tell the difference between different beans.
Definitely a recommendation to buy.

You have to learn how to use this machine. Once you have done that, it rewards you with wonderful coffee.
