Thanks to a product test, I have been able to test the Roomba i7 for a month now and I don't want to do without it. Especially the suction power is impressive. My flat is constantly clean and the Roomba i7 also vacuums very well in the corners.
After one or two test runs, I had prepared my flat so far for the small vacuum robot that it could drive on its own. I had to lay sockets and cables in such a way that the hoover couldn't get near them. After the two test runs, the hoover had already mapped my flat and smaller areas where it is not allowed to drive in the future can be marked and excluded in the app. Rooms can be renamed, room dividers can be manually inserted or deleted. In the app, you can then select specific rooms to be cleaned and the vacuum cleaner drives there and cleans on its own. This works surprisingly well.
Since my old flat has particularly high thresholds of over 5 cm, I built mini ramps out of wood for the little helper so that it can drive into all the rooms by itself during the vacuuming. It's a bit noisy for me, so I like to start it while I'm shopping and it can clean my flat in peace while I'm out. I will definitely keep it.

I am very pleasantly surprised at the huge improvements this iRobot i7+ robot vacuum has made over the last few years. I had this product several years ago and was familiar with the performance of the first Roombas, after which I switched to another Samsung model. Now, several years later, I return to iRobot and my experience could not be better, highly recommended to keep your room clean without effort.
The self-emptying station, the great AI capabilities to map the areas it runs in very accurately, battery with long run time, the efficiency of cleaning, the awareness of the fill level, the ability to switch betweenThe ability to switch between different surfaces (hard floors and carpets), the ability to create jobs based on the pre-designed zones, the Hepa filters, the long-lasting cleaning bags, among others, are just great.
For the last 2 months I run at home twice a week for a little over 90 minutes smoothly to completely vacuum the entire level and returns to its station on its own to empty and recharge. The lower level is vacuumed about once a week, wearing it only at the beginning and end of the job. It usually ends in the same place where it started, so you don't even have to look for it.
It only takes a few passes to fully map the areas where it works and then it gets smarter and smarter after that. Great helper to keep hard to reach areas clean (under TV tables, under beds etc). I love the quality and efficiency of this robot and hope to keep it running for so long. Very impressed and highly recommended!

I have had an iRobot 676 for about 2 years. Basically, the 676 fulfilled its mission, but rather chaotically, haphazardly and thus not really efficient. (However, the price/performance ratio is right) The i7 is in a completely different league. The suction power is much better and with much less noise. The i7 easily overcomes even high-pile carpets, where the 676 always got "stuck". The i7's dirt bin has more capacity and can be cleaned more thoroughly than the 676. So, and now comes the real strength of the i7. The device maps the rooms super precisely. This means that the robot vacuum knows where it is at all times and cleans the areas systematically and thus extremely efficiently and quickly. If you sent the 676 "home" via the app, it would search for its docking station for 20-30 minutes in extreme cases. The i7 moves into the "basket" as if on a virtual "string". In order to put the 676 in its place, i.e. to limit its range of action so that it does not fall into the shower tray, for example, quite expensive light barriers had to be placed. Besides the fact that these light barriers are trip hazards, you always have to make sure that the batteries are charged. The i7 can be comfortably used in the app to delimit the effective area on the map it draws. You can even define your own zones, which allows you to send the robot to a specific area. I, for example, have set a special zone in the area around the dining table. The robot now cleans this area super fast after the meal. This "i"-intelligent robot is really cool!

Very satisfied with the product, quieter than a standard hoover, but still too loud to be in the same room.
Great for pet owners

I think this robot is great! In less than 10 minutes it is installed and very easy to use. The application is top notch with the map zones so you can select the rooms to clean. The application works perfectly even when you're at work with a small unexpected dinner with guests and quickly on the app to launch the cleaning so that it's all clean when you get home, just prepare the meal without worrying about cleaning. I highly recommend it!

The iRobot i7 is a great helper in the household. It creates a map of the whole flat during the first 3-4 passes. On this map you can separate all the rooms and mark areas that you want the iRobot to avoid. With the iRobot App, you can create quick selection commands, for example, to vacuum the whole flat or only individual rooms. If the battery should run out, it interrupts the programme, goes into charge mode and picks up where it left off after a full charge. With the extra brush, it also gets into all the corners. The only downside I noticed was that the iRobot is not the quietest. However, this is not a problem at all as I have it programmed to vacuum when I am not at home anyway. All in all, a very recommendable little helper.
