    Durable and good quality!

After our old Kenwood Chef after 31 years of intensive use has quit the service, now bought another Kenwood Chef. And all the old accessories still fit on the new machine...with the exception of the meat grinder. A sturdy, reliable machine that does what it's supposed to. With no lights, no buttons, no display and no Siri or Alexa chattering away! Perfect!

    Pro

    • Very good quality
    • Durable
    • Simple and reliable operation
    • Correspondingly very good price-performance ratio
    • No vulnerable and unnecessary bells and whistles
    • Spare parts and accessories available even after years

The most expensive CH plug I have ever afforded.

Really, this is the most expensive CH-plug I have ever bought. It costs a mere CHF 206. The Singles Day special offer for CHF 519.- made the exclusive CH-plug a bit cheaper, because normally the KVL 8300S set costs CHF 679.-.
    Now,
only one day later, I would have been better off without the luxurious CH plug and got the import device with an adapter. This is available today for CHF 601.- and comes with an extra: The excellent glass blender attachment.

Yes, it's no joke. The CH plug on the machine really costs CHF 206 extra if you also want the blender attachment, so if you want to stand there at the end of the day with the same accessories as the KVL 8320S set comes with. The blender attachment costs a hefty CHF 128 when purchased separately. So the Singles Day price was actually none, because the bottom line is that you now still pay CHF 46 more. For the fact that a CH plug hangs at the end of the power cable. Yup, all in all a proud price for a bit of Swissness, which actually only shows in the different plug.

To clarify: The base unit is the same, no matter if the package is called KVL 8300S or KVL 8320S. The difference is in the accessories. And just that CH-plug. But nobody wants to miss this prestige object today. A CH-plug. The prestige among acquaintances, friends and relatives increases immeasurably. I'm sure it will. Go for it, because you're worth it.

    Contra

    • Cheap plastic knob
    • Cheap plastic cover
    • Sinfully expensive CH plug
