I have not regretted the purchase so far. The fact that you have to pre-freeze the bowl was known to me in advance. At first I tried simple recipes from the internet. The results were not very satisfactory, except for the sorbets. If you want fine ice cream, you have to invest a little time in the ice cream mixture. The basic recipe (with milk and starch, without cream) in the instructions has worked very well so far. You can always vary it. It comes with a separate recipe book with rather extravagant types of ice cream for my taste. The reason I bought the machine was that I wanted to make low-calorie ice cream, because the ones you can buy are more or less nothing but chemicals and therefore have side effects, especially on the digestion.
One preparation with the maximum possible ice cream mass results in approx. 5-6 Frigo cups of ice cream with a content of 0.2 litres.
Cleaning is relatively easy. Some parts are dishwasher safe, others are not. The bucket is quite heavy for my strength, which is especially noticeable during cleaning. But the cooling liquid has to go somewhere.
I have already tried to freeze two loads on top of each other. With the second load, the mass was no longer as solid, but still acceptable.

Great value for money. Only suitable for people with a large freezer, as the whole pot must be cooled before use. Handling is very simple and the result absolutely satisfactory!

I have not yet regretted the purchase of the Krups Venise GVS2. The bowl you have to put first in the freezer, which requires a little planning during preparation. The "bucket" fits exactly in the freezer drawer.
For recipes that require the mixture to be boiled, an extra day must be invested, as the mixture must be completely cooled before it is put into the machine. Making a variety of glazes is easy and filling the machine goes very well. The machine beeps when the ice cream is ready. If it is too little, the button can be pressed again. The consistency of the ice cream and sorbet is very appealing. After production, I put the ice cream then again for 1-2 hours in the freezer before serving.
Although the machine consists of several parts, cleaning is easy. Whether it is dishwasher safe I can not judge, because I like to wash the parts by hand.
The delivery from Galaxus was fast and uncomplicated.

For home use a worthwhile investment with impeccable price / performance ratio. Who can afford it in terms of space, should always keep the Frezzer container in the freezer. If then a spontaneous appetite for Glacebuw a recipe spirit flash can be reacted immediately.
The enclosed recipe book offers solid recipes, but for me the own creations quickly took the upper hand.
Curry ice cream, basil sorbet, mead-cherry foam ice cream etc.
Including low-calorie creations: e.g. Migros Ice Tea Light - ready. Wonderfully refreshing.
Or mix 2 cups of blueberry yoghurt with a pack of vanilla sugar and a few drops of liquid sugar - it couldn't be easier :-)Pro
