I would not recommend or buy
Unit came with a power plug that is used in Germany. Not a Swiss plug!

Boils eggs, Difficult to clean
The egg boiler works OK. It comes with a learning curve as the amounts of water recommended for cooking are almost never right. This is especially because there are huge differences depending on the size of the eggs and whether they come from the fridge or not. After a while you realise that the rule of thumb is better less than too much water. The biggest problem, however, is cleaning the appliance. The water tank is not removable for cleaning and can only be cleaned with a damp rag. My recommendation; wipe it off after every use! The thing quickly starts to stink if you clean it regularly (especially as egg deposits burn in the container). If you forget to clean it, it's best to use vinegar to help it along. All in all, an OK appliance, but I would still buy another one, as cleaning with this one is too complicated.

Perfect, beautifully designed, a pleasure to wear
Positives:
A small, compact, beautifully designed and perfectly finished appliance. The desired amount of water for the stainless steel heating tray can be measured with the bonnet or the measuring cup. Crack the eggs and start. It took me 10 minutes for two half-hard eggs at 1200 m above sea level. When all the water has evaporated, a beep sounds, which can be switched off with the on button.
Negative:
Power cable: The clunky EU plug is angled. Together with the CH adapter - available free of charge at the Digitec sales desk - it is clunky. This makes it a challenge to find a place at the socket or plug. The cable is 75 cm long.
Negative:
The small amount of protein at the bottom of the beaked egg is enough to cause large, sticky protein bubbles to rise during heating, which spoil the pleasure. Remedy: Stop beeping the eggs and scrub the cooled heating tray scrupulously clean each time.

Looks very good, but is not handy to use. In particular, the water fill level is not easily visible.
Product is good - but with mains plug adapter DE->CH !!!!
I bought this WMF egg boiler twice. Product very good and quality OK.
ATTENTION: I received the egg boiler with a GERMAN plug. There is NOTHING in the product description. Comes with Max Hauri mains plug adapter (type 12, CEE 7/7) which is supplied free of charge. The problem is that this combination takes up too much space in a 3-way socket.
I am very disappointed about this "incorrect" action by Galaxus.
