Contrary to our first impression, the Roborock S7 Max Ultra is not another superfluous member of the S7 family, but actually the best. Compared to the previous S7 top model, the S7 MaxV Ultra, the new Max Ultra without the V in its name offers poorer object recognition, but hot air drying for the wipe is included and the rest is at least as good - at a lower price...
Water in and go: not much more is needed for the tested household robots to vacuum and mop the floor - and clean themselves afterwards before returning to the corner with the cleaning things. In all models, the washing and tank system proves to be a real help at work. In the search for the right high-tech cleaning power, other differences therefore come into focus...
Cleaning robots promise that you will never have to vacuum or mop again. Stiftung Warentest regularly tests what the robots can do on hard floors or carpets, how thoroughly they mop and what they are good at in practice. There are many good models, but the price differences are large: Between 160 and 1400 euros.
The special feature of the Roborock device is its suction station. It charges the robot, empties the dust container, fills the water tank and also cleans the mop. This way, up to 300 square metres can be mopped in one go.
