Overall, the test candidates, led by LG, performed quite well, although corners and edges are not their favourite terrain. They sometimes travel across the surface very noisily (Dyson, Neato); in doing so, they sometimes bump their way and simply push aside small pieces of furniture etc...

The Samsung POWERbot VR7000 VR2DM7060WD/EG took third place. The robot hoover also impressed with its intelligent operation and very good suction power. In addition to the control buttons on the appliance, the robot can also be controlled via an app and a remote control.

The suction power is improved by a wide, self-cleaning brush. Equipped with an abundance of sensors, Powerbot navigates safely through the room and also cleans the corners. Its performance adapts to the floor. When tested, it did not always find its own way back to the charging station. A Virtual Guard prevents it from travelling over secured areas.
