The cheapest model in the test flushed too much lead into the cup after descaling. The content was above the Council of Europe and drinking water regulations. The first cup of espresso was a little too cool. Otherwise, the machine scores mostly mediocre. Included are: Tamper, milk jug, two strainers.

- Pressure gauge
- Quick milk foam dispensing
- Diverse programming options
- Average quality of the crema
- uneven double cover (±30 ml)
This is the only model that has a pressure gauge, so that you can tell from the pressure you can read why the espresso is not of masterly quality. The fact that you can then intervene, e.g. compress the powder more or less with the tamper, is an immense advantage: If you get to grips with the basics of making espresso and the pressure levels to be realised during the process, you can confidently improve...

The Espresa plus scores good overall marks for function, handling and workmanship. The equipment includes a barista starter set with a milk jug and a high-quality tamper. The packaging waste is a negative aspect.
