Der Standmixer SM 3718 von Severin weist eine Stärke beim Vermengen von Zutaten auf. Weiches Obst lässt sich gut pürieren, während härtere Zutaten ausreichend Flüssigkeit benötigen. Erst dann gelingt ein gleichmäßiges Pürierergebnis. Eine Schwäche ist eher beim Crushen von Eiswürfeln zu sehen, da diese uneinheitlich zerstoßen werden.

Die Arbeitsergebnisse des Gerätes sind insgesamt sehr gut denn die Messer leisten dabei ganze Arbeit. Allerdings ist der Einsatz umständlich einzusetzen was die Handhabung schwer macht. Zudem ist die Kanne nicht hitzebeständig.
