Das Waffeleisen von Tristar macht in puncto Sicherheit keinen so guten Eindruck, denn es steigt im Betrieb in der Griffnähe ein heißer Dampf heraus. Doch es liefert großartige Waffeln mit einer gleichmäßigen Bräune und lässt sich zudem recht einfach bedienen. Das Gehäuse fühlt sich wertig an und das Design ist ansprechend.
... Das Backergebnis konnte zumeist zufriedenstellend: Die Konsistenz der Waffeln war – auch wegen der typischen Dicke – gut, die Bräunung meist ausreichend gleichmäßig.
