In order to maintain the high cutting quality of a knife, you need a sharpening steel. This is because when the knife is pulled over the sharpening steel, the fine grinding of the blade is raised again and the sharp cut is retained. It is best to pull both sides of the knife over the sharpening steel before each cutting operation. You will find a simple description on the packaging. Nicht fallenlassen: Ganz leichter Wetzstab aus Keramik. Schärft insgesamt gut und liegt angenehm in der Hand, kann aber beim Herunterfallen brechen. Muss öfter gereinigt werden, darf aber in die Spülmaschine.
