Prof. Wilhelm Wagenfeld is considered a pioneer of modern industrial design. As early as 1954, the Bremen product designer developed salt and pepper shakers, stackable egg cups, and a butter dish for WMF, which has now reissued the originals. The shapes are timelessly modern, and the functionality is convincing. The shakers, featuring a large opening for filling, are made of crystal glass. The narrowing allows the salt and pepper to flow easily and keeps it ready for sprinkling. The plug-in lid can be removed and replaced with a simple push.
