Product details

With use, a knife can lose its sharpness. This not only makes cutting more difficult but can also be dangerous, as you need to exert more force to cut through meat, fish, or vegetables. Therefore, using a dull knife is not recommended. However, you don't have to throw the knife away if you use this sharpening steel.

No well-equipped kitchen should be without a sharpening steel, such as the model from the Twin 1731 series. With this tool, you can restore dull blades to sharpness in just a few seconds. At 23 cm in length, the sharpening steel is suitable for larger knives, such as chef's knives or carving knives. The handling is very simple: you run the sharpening steel a few times along the edge of the knife and can immediately enjoy sharper results.

To enable easy and quick sharpening, this model also features a tungsten carbide coating. This material is slightly rougher and can be compared to fine sandpaper. It hones the blade and restores the cutting properties of the knife. The sharpening steel itself is also particularly durable. If you want to benefit from sharp knives while cooking, this sharpener from Zwilling is therefore a great choice for you.
