The water is needed to generate the steam. The amount of potatoes does not matter. One to max 2 dl is enough. For medium-sized potatoes, set the valve all the way to the right. Turn the hob on full power until the pressure relief valve opens, then reduce the power so that only a little pressure escapes and cook for 10 minutes.
