The blender's cleaning mode works very well and when it's not enough, a quick wipe with a sponge or brush (not too abrasive...) and it's as good as new! It will leave more marks than a glass bowl, but with good maintenance, there's no need to worry.

The container is not made of glass but of plastic. I once made a lemon sauce and since then the plastic has become cloudy.
