I would get neither one of those, I think they both are highly overpriced. A 3rd option would be the Roborock S7 with the automatic dust bin, much better than the Ecovacs, Samsung and iRobot solution. The S7 can also be bought without the automatic dust bin system, so you could upgrade at a later time.

If you are lookung for more for less, check out the excellent Roidmi Eve Plus for 469 CHF. It costs less than all the others, but it is not sold by Digitec. Roidmi is a company of the Xiaomi ecosystem.

If quality is important to you, I can recommend iRobot products. We have only had negative experiences with Roborock and are now happy Roomba i7 owners.

There are many reasons to choose a Roomba s9+ over a Roborock, ecovacs or samsung robot vacuum.

For example, with my Roomba s9+ I can set cleaning tasks as favourites and with one click my favourite areas are cleaned. It gives me active cleaning suggestions depending on the season. Oh, and it tells me roughly how long it will take before it starts cleaning, which helps with planning. And there is the function "Clean While I Am Away", so even though it is supposed to clean every day at 9 a.m., it doesn't clean while I am still at home (of course, only if I have set it that way). But very practical in my opinion.

The Roomba S9+ has two brushes, not just one. So long hairs won't get tangled. And the suction power is impressive!

In addition, there are always updates from irobot. So you always get new functions as soon as they are available. So I don't have to buy a new device for every additional function. I will never give my Roomab s9+ away again.

I definitely like iRobot and they are very trustworthy.
