I currently use a Kibernetik Nanyo KMO2501 which I bought for about 240chf a few years ago. Unfortunately, the thing is really loud and makes it almost as hard to sleep as the heat.... My question is, what about this "silent system"? How strong is the cooling capacity compared to the normal mode? I would like to cool my 40m3 room as quietly as possible at night. During the day it can go Brrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I can't recommend the device to run overnight. It is still too loud for that, even in silent mode. In silent mode, only the ventilation level is at the lowest level, while the compressor runs at the same level. However, the cooling performance is quite good.
