I bought the coffee machine in January 2021. It really leaves nothing to be desired, great product. Regarding the warranty, the information on the Delonghi site is actually that the 5-year warranty was a promotion until the purchase date of 31.03.2021. In addition, it is a prerequisite for the warranty that the machine is registered with Delonghi within 3 months of the purchase date. see https://www.delonghi.com/de-ch...
I don't know if the previous speaker has more recent information or if the coffee machine was purchased before April 2021....I hope this helps.
My recently purchased Primadonna Soul has a 5-year guarantee - it's just one of those promotions that is probably limited in time. I can warmly recommend the machine. After testing about 10 different types, I use the following coffee from a 190-year-old roastery in Interlaken.

With the app, the machine can be perfectly adjusted to the coffee used. With the coffee from Interlaken, I have an absolutely perfect crema of approx. 8 mm on the espresso that I have never seen before. With the Primadonna Soul and the H&R Orient beans, I have also achieved a level of latte macchiato that is not reached in 80% of the restaurants I frequent.
A landlord who tried the coffee in my restaurant said that I now only have one problem - that I have to make do with worse coffee than I have at home almost everywhere I go out. But I can live with that.
Another great thing about the Primadonna is that the brew group can be completely removed and cleaned in 30 seconds. With JURA and the like, this cannot be done, which then leads to disgusting mould on the brew group after just one year. I'll never use JURA again - total junk and arrogant, unfriendly staff. For me, there's only De Longhi and SAECO left in this life anyway - with Saeco machines, you can apparently also remove the brew group and clean it yourself.
