Product details
The Children's Body Correction/Children's Corset Type 652 is a rigid posture corset for children used to treat scoliosis. Effect: It promotes the correct posture of the child and protects against kyphosis, lordosis, kyphoscoliosis, and pterygoid scapula protrusion. The corset provides moderate stiffness to the spine and allows for individual posture correction throughout the day. When the arms are extended, the corset adds a few centimeters in height. It helps achieve the correct posture for the child and improves muscle tone during learning, resting, and playing.
The spinal alignment corset is used to prevent progressive spinal curvature and reduce scoliosis decompensation. It is also helpful in the rehabilitation phase after injuries to the thoracic and upper lumbar spine, clavicle injuries, and surgeries. The corset can be worn directly on the body or over clothing. A wide belt is secured at the front with Velcro, while narrow elastic bands are draped over the shoulders, crossed at the back, and fastened over the abdomen, with corset inserts on both sides of the spine. By pulling up and loosening the closure, the degree of shoulder abduction can be adjusted. If necessary, the corset inserts can be removed or bent to fit the torso shape.
It is recommended to wear the correction corset for 3–4 hours a day, starting with 15–25 minutes on the first day and then increasing daily by 20 minutes over a period of 1-1.5 months, while gradually tightening the brace to extend the arms.
Composition of materials: Outer layer: Latex – 27%, Polyester – 73%; Inner layer: Cotton – 100%, 2 reinforcements.
