Product details
The low cut version of the Makra Pro GTX - the Makra Pro Low GTX - is an approach shoe for demanding terrain. But what actually makes a good approach shoe? Multifunctionality is in demand. The Makra Pro Low GTX works on a wide variety of terrain: from asphalt paths to forest and meadow to scree fields. Comfort, stability and flexibility play an important role here. Its lightweight yet particularly stable midsole is made of PU and EVA: the oversized PU heel provides perfect cushioning, while a reinforcing PU foam wedge in the heel area also supports an ideal rolling motion. EVA in the forefoot area ensures precision underfoot - and the exclusive Vibram "Makra outsole" offers excellent grip. A feature of the Makra family is the optimised Ghilly lacing up to the toe area - the laces are pulled through textile loops. The foot thus has a good hold even in the front area and in a mid-high model, and you stand stably in the shoe. Thanks to the waterproof GORE-TEX membrane, feet stay dry even in inclement weather. The Perwanger leather is robust, breathable and durable. A material combination that convinces all along the line.

A lightweight hiking boot for many uses and situations. Rather large and heavy for carrying in a rucksack (climbing).
