The helmet not only aids visibility; it also features turn signals on the back that can be controlled via a wireless remote on the handlebars. This allows you to signal in addition to hand gestures, which can sometimes be hard to see in the dark. Furthermore, the Lumos helmets detect when you significantly reduce your speed and light up brighter, similar to brake lights on a car.
