I'm saying this now with regard to the Thule luggage carrier purely from the picture. I had my problems with the KlickFix alone. With an adapter plate on any luggage carrier, the practical tension spring is neutralised and unusable. I then made my own bracket so that I could attach the bag without an adapter plate. My advice here is to avoid buying online, go to a specialist shop for advice and stick to one brand. Otherwise frustration is inevitable.
