This product is not chrome steel!
It is noted in the description chrome steel and in fact it is metal painted gray. Does not correspond to the picture and the description.
To avoid if you have a bike with chrome parts.This review was created for a different variant: Portland
Nice Front Carrier
Very nice and visually also valuable looking (long-term test still pending). According to the description, it was not clear how well the front carrier fits on "modern" bikes. Mine has disc brakes and a fork that is relatively straight (no bend towards the hub).
This means that it is not really possible to mount it. Now I have used aluminium profiles to mount the basket on the fork (mudguard mounting bolts) which seems to work and gives the basket enough stability. Without custom-made support on my part, however, mounting the basket would not have been possible.Pro
