The Alp Trainer 2 is a modern hiking shoe with a mid-height shaft that reliably protects you during long hikes on rough terrain. It features a robust, high-quality suede upper with durable stretch inserts on the tongue and a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining. The generous rubber rand offers additional protection against rock edges and debris.

Comfort and Support
The shoe is specifically designed for women to accommodate the unique shape of the female foot. It has a precise fit that supports your foot and is comfortable right from the first wear. Our patented 3F System ensures a secure fit around the ankle and lateral stability on rough terrain, while the soft Flex Collar provides more freedom of movement for the ankle and increases comfort when descending. With the adjustable SALEWA Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+), you can choose between different insoles to customize the shoe volume to your needs. The climbing shoe lacing system also allows for individual tightening down to the toes.

Grip and Control
The optimized Vibram Alpine Hiking outsole, available exclusively from SALEWA, enhances performance and control on various mountain terrains. Its specialized climbing, grip, and braking zones also perform well in wet and muddy conditions.
