Our Wildfire 2 Gore-Tex shoe is a precise, technical approach shoe for women, featuring a grippy POMOCA outsole for climbing performance and quick approaches, as well as for technical and light alpine climbing.
The upper is made from recycled, breathable mesh with an elastic insert on the tongue and a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane that reliably protects you from the elements. A network of Kevlar wires wraps your foot comfortably, providing improved, precise fit, flexibility, and firm ankle and heel support. Additionally, the Wildfire 2 is equipped with our unique Switchfit adjustment, allowing for an easy transition from hiking to climbing mode, as well as the Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) for a customizable footbed tailored to your specific needs.
The Pomoca Speed MTN outsole features a climbing zone in the toe area, ensuring good grip on small rock ledges. It also includes S-Path technology for a natural rolling motion. The POMOCA rubber provides excellent traction on both dry and wet surfaces, while the strong, pronounced profile lugs offer great grip on mud and softer terrain.

With its strong cushioning and very low sole construction, the Salewa impresses on forest tracks as well as on mule tracks. Weighing in at 750 grams, it likes to go at a fast pace, but is also suitable for leisurely hikes, where it impresses with a lot of control and step precision, which is also due to the firm, rather tight fit. Price: 190 euros.
If you are looking for a pair for mountain runs or (fast) tours on rather firm ground, this is the right choice. Also great for leisurely hiking.
