Hello, I am unsure whether my two eBikes (29" wheels and frame size XL) will fit on the carrier. The wheelbase is approx. 135 cm. In addition, the eBike has a frame battery. You can find the bike at https://www.trekbikes.com/ch/de_CH/search/?text=Rail+5. Does anyone have experience with this size of eBike? Thank you and greetings

I never had any problems with the bike carrier, it works perfectly. I always transport the e-bike batteries in the car (less weight).
Please always observe the following points: 1. instructions; 2. technical data; 3. traffic regulations.

You can tilt the carrier backwards (press the foot pedal) to open the boot, this also works when it is loaded. To return it to its normal position, tilt it forwards again until you hear an audible click, which takes a fair amount of pressure to engage - I always check after loading that no one has unlocked the tilt mechanism. (The fastening of the carrier on the trailer coupling should also be adjusted in such a way that 47 kg of pressure is required at the closing handle - for me, that is more than half my body weight...).
ATTENTION: Read the instructions carefully!

I would advise against transporting an ebike with it. They are too heavy for the carrier. I did that once and had a bad experience. As soon as you drive fast with the car, the carrier tilts backwards. Two normal bikes fit on it plus a child's bike.
