In the pictures you can see how to train with footstraps. On the manufacturer's website, however, they are included in an accessory set. Do I need an additional set to train with the footstrap or are they included?

No, the delivery includes a pack of basic loops. With a little skill and imagination, however, you can make your own loops and thus expand the range of functions.
