Product details

The thermal differential detector detects developing fires and fires. It reacts to a maximum temperature and a temperature rise. These indicators are reliably detected and reported to the alarm control panel.
The thermal differential detector is mounted on the ceiling in the middle of the room. The minimum distance to the side wall is 30 cm. As the thermal differential detector - in contrast to optical smoke detectors - does not detect smoke, it is mainly used in places with high dust and smoke pollution (kitchens, smoking rooms, garages). Only when a maximum temperature of 60 °C is exceeded, or the temperature rises by more than 5 °C within 3 minutes, does the detector trigger an alarm. By adjusting a jumper, you can configure it as an NO or NC detector. This makes it suitable for any wired alarm system. The thermo differential detector is externally supplied with 12 V operating voltage and is EN54 certified.
