The Akyga® AK-EC-15 charger has been designed for electric cars imported from America. It features a Type 1 plug standard for these vehicles, made from high-strength material. This means that if it is accidentally dropped or run over, there is no need to purchase a new charger. Additionally, the 5-meter long cable is equipped with a special ControlBox. This allows for current adjustment and monitoring of the current charging parameters. The built-in LED display shows: charging current and power, mains voltage, device energy consumption, charger temperature, and charging time. Below the display are buttons for selecting the current strength and setting the charging time limit. Five current strengths are available: 6, 10, 16, 20, and 32 A. This ensures that the internal charger of your electric car does not draw more power than your system can handle.

The IEC 60309 plug used for the charger is rated for 32 A, which corresponds to a power of up to 7.2 kW. Therefore, to fully utilize the charger, a robust electrical installation and appropriate protection are required.
