In conjunction with a radiator thermostat, it reduces energy consumption in the home and alarms in the event of unauthorised access via the free Homematic IP App - even when out and about. It can be set
up flexibly via Homematic IP App (in conjunction with the Homematic IP Access Point) or via a browser-based interface (in conjunction with a CCU2/CCU3 control unit). Alternatively, the smart window contact can also be operated without a central unit: Stand-alone operation (push-to-pair) allows up to eight radiator thermostats to be taught-in directly - basic (HmIP-eTRV-B) for automatic reduction of the room temperature during ventilation. Via the app, the window contact can be integrated into a comprehensive smart home system and thus additionally used for security applications, for example. The cloud solution enables flexible remote access at any time and from any place. Those who prefer to know the data locally in the home network, but still want to benefit from the advantages of a smart home system, can access the setup via the central CCU3. Power is supplied by two LR03 batteries, which can power the sensor for up to four years. Double-sided adhesive strips as well as suitable screws are supplied for secure mounting.
