Controls nearly all conventional electrical devices as desired – via Homematic IP switches and remote controls, by voice command, directly at the device, or through a smartphone, whether at home or on the go. For example, floor lamps, radios, humidifiers, fans, or even higher-powered devices like electric heaters can be individually controlled. This allows the devices to be adapted to daily routines and can be automatically turned on and off at any desired time or depending on sunrise and sunset. The measurement function prevents unnecessary energy waste, as the consumption values and costs of connected electrical devices can be monitored via an app. This quickly identifies energy hogs in the household and only powers devices when they are needed. Thanks to high measurement accuracy, the switch-measure socket can also be flexibly integrated into individual programming to automatically turn devices on or off during high or low energy consumption. An additional advantage is its low standby power consumption, making the switch-measure socket particularly energy-efficient.
