With the Homematic IP water sensor, water damage in your own home can be prevented. The device reliably detects moisture on the floor. If a line leaks or suddenly leaks, the Homematic IP water sensor immediately
reports this information loudly via the integrated siren and/or push message in the Homematic IP App to the homeowner's smartphone. This gives them the opportunity to react immediately to the hazardous situation and to limit the damage to a minimum. If the water is higher than 1.5 millimetres, the sensor triggers again and sends a second alarm informing the user of the emergency. The triggering behavior of the sensor can be easily adjusted in the app according to personal preference. Due to the battery operation and the spring-loaded measuring probes, the Homematic IP water sensor can be used flexibly at any location on a wide variety of substrates. In addition, a tilt sensor is installed in the device which immediately detects and reports unintentional movement or manipulation. Either the Homematic IP Access Point (in conjunction with the free Smartphone app), the Homematic CCU2 central unit or a suitable partner solution is required for operation. In addition to the operating instructions, two 1.5 Volt LR03/Micro/AAA batteries are also included in the scope of delivery.
