Garmin holt das Triple. Weil es bei der Software und dem Funktionsumfang nur wenige Unterschiede gibt, ist das kein Wunder. Navigation, POI-Suche und Extrafunktionen sind auch hier gut. Das Drive Assist sticht zusätzlich mit der eingebauten Dashcam hervor, die außerdem Assistenzsysteme wie Kollisionswarner aus der Oberklasse in jedes Auto bringt.

Die Kamera des Garmin Drive Assist 51 sitzt unauffällig auf der Rückseite. Das Navi nutzt sie unter anderem für seinen Kollisionswarner und den Spurhalteassistenten. Er bimmelt vor drohenden Ausflügen etwa in die Blumenrabatten neben der Fahrbahn. Insgesamt war das Navi vergleichsweise ängstlich und warnte oft unnötig...
