The Gira Dual Q photoelectric smoke detector impresses in the test with reliable smoke detection, but takes some time to do so: the alarm only goes off after 21 seconds. But it is unmistakable: with a measured 92 decibels, it clearly exceeds the manufacturer's specification of 85 decibels...

Among the smart smoke detectors in the test, the Gira Dual Q proves to be the best choice. The lithium-ion battery has a service life of 10 years, but it cannot be replaced. It can be networked via radio or 230 V cable. It offers a good selection of smart options and is easy to operate and install. All in all, it can be said that the Gira Dual Q brings smart security into your home.
