Product details
Open, lock and unlock the door at the touch of a button - very conveniently via radio remote control or by pressing a button directly on the device. Before you load your purchases from the car, press the
"open door" function on your small remote control on the key ring and then go straight into the house without having to put your purchases down again. Locking the door is of course just as easy.
Only a completely locked door offers sufficient protection against burglary. The association of house insurers therefore recommends that house or apartment entrance doors should be locked even if you are absent for a short period during the day or in the evening. This is often forgotten, as it is of course also uncomfortable. In addition, the bunch of keys can quickly scratch the door fittings, and you often carry things with you which then have to be put down again.
Flexible
Whether by radio remote control, pressing buttons on the device or manually - a complex and sophisticated electromechanical system allows you to choose from a variety of options. Unrestricted manual operation requires a locking cylinder with the so-called emergency and danger function. This version, which is commonly used today, ensures that you can operate your lock from the other side with another key even when the key is inserted.
Emergency function
Your door lock is still fully functional and can be operated manually (i.e. with the conventional key) without restrictions. If there is a malfunction of the system, there is always the possibility to get into the house by "normal means" without having to hire an expensive locksmith.
Universally applicable
Front door, side entrance door, warehouse and apartment door - if a standard lock cylinder is used, you can use KeyMatic. KeyMatic works completely independent of the mains supply and is power failure proof and does not require a mains connection near the door. Battery operation means that KeyMatic can be retrofitted easily and without a wired mains supply. The battery life is approximately half a year with an average of eight locking operations per day. A visual and audible signal is given early enough after each closing operation to indicate that the battery needs to be changed. If the battery capacity decreases, several acoustic-optical warnings are given, prompting the user to change the battery.
Secure radio connection
Communication with KeyMatic is only AES authenticated. Replay attacks by recording radio commands are impossible. The KeyMatic is equipped with a class II receiver.
Audible signals and status messages
During operation, acoustic signals and status messages on the display help to identify the current operating status at all times. The acoustic acknowledgement messages can be set and switched off. If required, an optional signal lamp can be installed to provide visual support for the acoustic status messages.
Quick and easy installation
Installation is done in a few easy steps: no drilling, no power cable and no special tools are required. KeyMatic can be used on any door with a standard lock cylinder with emergency and danger function. Only in exceptional cases is it necessary to replace the existing lock cylinder to be able to attach the mounting plate. Simply attach the mounting plate to the projecting cylinder lock, place the operator on top and screw it down - that's it.
Scope of delivery:
- Wireless door lock drive with mounting base and 2 wood screws
- Allen key (for mounting base and radio door lock drive)
- 3x batteries type AA/LR6 (for radio door lock drive)
