The slim profile provides ideal conditions for installation on a window or door. The alarm device requires 2 x CR2032 batteries (included), with an average battery life of one year for normal use. The alarm device features a signal light for a nearly empty battery. Press the "Battery Test" button on the front of the device to check the battery status. The alarm unit is mounted using a set of double-sided tape (included): Attach the alarm and magnetic sensor to the door or window, and you're done.
