Bosch Professional GTS 635-216 Professional circular table saw
Bosch Professional GTS 635-216 Professional circular table saw
Have now already done some work with the saw and so far it works quite well - again I would buy it but rather not ... would know but then again also no suitable alternative in this price category
(for lack of experience with other saws)
Pro:
- you can work with it
- paralellanschlag is i.O
- easy handling / maintenance / cleaning
- Digitec supplies the suitable plug after if they forget it
Contra:
- Wobbly saw unit (a finger on the suction tube brings the entire saw unit to wobble)
- Bumpy start (when nut is loosened uncomfortably tight, the bumpy start disappears - in the user manual is no indication of Newton meters / tightening force)
- The start is so bad that the saw blade deflects by up to 3mm on each side when starting (sliding carriage thus "breaks")
- Chip hood is a joke / no suction available
- Saw leaves a lot of chips, even if correctly extracted
- Angle stop is a piece of plastic... absolute garbage
- the guide grooves have a sheet metal inlay of 1mm which has to be ground off to use international inserts (design flaw)
- Digitec ALWAYS forgets to supply the appropriate plug (with every EU device so far)
- actually Bosch green simply painted blue...
The saw is great, no question. The supplied accessories are useless for precision.
Known problems such as rattling at startup (nut saw blade) and the EU plug could be fixed before delivery.

the start-up vibrations are really strongly annoying.
However, they could be easily eliminated - attach clamping washer when fixing.
see various YouTube videos on this problem
bought at Amazon:
M16 - corrugated washers spring washers stainless steel V2A, DIN 137 B
=> with an additional top saw blade, bought at Amazon
Bayerwald Werkzeuge HM circular saw blade - 216 x 2.6/1.6 x 30 | alternating tooth (54 teeth)| For Bosch GTS 635-216
is sawing like cutting through butter - with a perfect cut and almost no fraying!

I had for years (15+) an old small Einhell table saw, which I once bought via Ricardo. For beginners quite ok. It has always done its job, but from the possibilities and handling, it is extreeeem outdated. Virtually stone age. In comparison, the Bosch GTS is now a quantum leap! That is why I can not understand some shortcomings here (or in other stores) the GTS are accused (at the moment). Angle adjustment? Super! Height adjustment? Super! Rip fence? A dream! etc...
Nevertheless, there is a star deduction, namely because something "shudders" and rattles in the saw during operation. No idea what. Will not like to "look in" during operation! :-)
Thus, it is also louder than expected.
Actually, I would also have to deduct 1 star because the plug adapter (DE to CH) is missing, but 1. this is the fault of Galaxus, that this was not supplied, and not the fault of the Bosch table saw (which I am judging here). And 2. I am an electrician and could easily change the plug itself ;-)
In the end, however, I can recommend the saw. I am very glad that I bought it and have my joy in it.
