After about 10 years of service, I replaced my corded electric mower with this cordless mower. I hesitated for a long time because many cordless mowers are simply quite a bit heavier. Since we live on a steep slope, I have lawn on three floors plus a piece that runs next to a staircase. That is, I drag the mower more than I mow at all. This unit is comparably light (around 15kg) so it's still easy to carry. Nevertheless, the performance for our lawn (about 5 x 30m2) is more than enough. Since there is no need to lay the cable and roll it back in, I am finished much faster. Even high grass (about 15 cm) could be mowed away without problems in one pass. My two 5Ah batteries were after mowing still about 75% full according to the display. So far I am very satisfied, but the long-term stability remains to be seen.

If you already have an 18 V battery from Makita, the mower is relatively cheap!

Ideal mower for areas with more angles and obstacles than straight lines. It's very manoeuvrable, and mows well even when the grass is a little damp. Mowing is a lot less physical than with my old petrol mower. The grass tends not to go to the bottom of the bag, so you have to empty it regularly, but as it stops and starts at the touch of a button, that's not a problem.
