This smoke detector detects smoke or soot particles as soon as they enter the interior of the device via a special optical sensor. After detecting smoke or soot particles, the device emits an acoustic warning signal. This warns especially sleeping or careless individuals and gives them time to alert the fire brigade or for self-rescue. The use of smoke detectors is recommended by the fire brigade, especially in rest rooms and on escape routes such as corridors. However, the device cannot alert the fire brigade or be connected with other devices.
