Since the company was founded in 1853, the former Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik (now WMF Group GmbH) has been producing high-quality kitchen gadgets and household goods for private households, restaurants and hotels. WMF's most famous achievement is the stainless steel Cromargan with 18% chrome and 10% nickel, which owes its name to the high chrome content and the silver-like appearance. Chrome makes the metal rust-resistant, while nickel gives it acid resistance and shine. Both excellent design and reliable functionality are given an important place in all developments, be it tableware, cutlery, pans or other utensils. Because for WMF, not only eating and drinking belong to the incomparable moments of pleasure in life, but also, or even more so, the preparation and cooking.
