The 2-part guide rail FKS 145 is suitable not only for mains-powered circular saws but also for battery-operated circular saws with a small base plate. The guide rail can be used with commercially available circular saws that have a cutting depth of 40–70 mm, a blade diameter of 130–200 mm, and a base plate measuring at least 78 x 210 mm up to a maximum of 256 x 385 mm. Two rubber strips on the underside of the aluminum rail ensure a non-slip fit on your workpiece, and the two accompanying clamps with protective caps provide a secure, surface-friendly fixation of the rail. You can effortlessly make straight and long cuts as well as miter cuts through longer workpieces, even in edge-remote areas. The rubber lip reduces the risk of tear-out and simultaneously marks the cutting edge. The guide rail features notches that automatically open and close the protective cover of the circular saw when moving in and out. You can optimally adjust the guide slide to the rail using three adjustment screws. Additionally, you can quickly and easily align the circular saw on the guide slide of the rail. The integrated alignment aid on the guide slide helps you set the correct distance of the saw blade to the guide rail – a measuring tape is unnecessary. The FKS 145 can be split in the middle and securely joined together with two connectors. Together, both parts achieve a cutting length of 110 cm – one part is sufficient for a cutting length of up to 55 cm. If you want to work with extra-long workpieces, you can extend the guide rail with the optionally available extension set to a cutting length of 220 cm – the ideal accessory for circular saws for cutting and shortening door panels and kitchen countertops, as well as for all tasks where guidance and safety are essential.
