I bought this unit a few weeks ago. After I managed to install this device despite many installation problems, it worked for about 6 weeks. Then it kept showing me in the app every few hours that the device lost connection, and a bit later it reconnected (at least close to 40 times). Then I restarted the router and the access points, and now nothing works at all. I then reset the device several times, and the LED showed me a different colour as status each time, sometimes it was red, sometimes white, sometimes it lit up, sometimes it was green, and in between it was blue. The table showing which colour means what didn't help me either, as it is certainly wired correctly (it has been working for 6 weeks), I also tried to install it again several times (I also deleted the device from the Security app and from the HomeKit app, but it still didn't work). Does anyone know of a similar problem and how they fixed it, or do I have to send the device back?
Hello Thomas. This has been going on for 6 months now. Sometimes it works for 2 weeks at a time, then the bell disconnects again and the whole thing starts all over again (reset and reconfigure). The WLAN receiver is catastrophic, even my iPhone has full WLAN reception next to the bell. The repeater is 3 metres away from the bell and yet the signal is only moderate. See if you can boost the Wi-Fi signal somehow. Otherwise the bell is the wrong product. I'm already looking for alternatives, but it's not that easy...
Have you also reset the bell to factory settings and tried it on a USB power supply?
