Daniela Drescher, born in 1966, is an internationally celebrated illustrator and author. After various stays abroad and work in special education, she trained as an art therapist. Her extensive work as an art therapist with children led to the creation of her numerous picture books. In addition to her own picture books, she has illustrated several classics of world literature. Her picture books and illustrated children's books captivate both children and adults worldwide with a style that appeals to all ages. In her more than 40 books, she provides her young readers with direct access to nature as well as social themes. Furthermore, she regularly advocates for conservation organizations.
