Little children love stories. They listen intently and with great excitement to the tales being told. You can almost see how they process the stories in their minds. Perhaps you've noticed that young children particularly enjoy stories from our everyday lives and want to hear them over and over again. It's no wonder: For little ones, the ordinary daily life is still a puzzle filled with many questions they are eager to solve and understand. In our stories about Lotta, we don't transport them to fantastic worlds; instead, we recount everyday experiences of toddlers. Our experience shows that these stories help children understand their own lives, categorize their own experiences, and ask many questions. Through the shared storytelling of everyday tales, we playfully expand the children's world of experiences and contribute to new learning opportunities.
