Product details

The Tirpitz is a German battleship from World War II that was launched on April 1, 1939. It is the sister ship of the battleship Bismarck and the largest unit of the Kriegsmarine from 1941 to 1944. It achieved combat readiness in September 1941 and was sunk by the British Air Force near Tromsø, Norway, on November 12, 1944.

The ship model created by Cobi has been produced at a scale of 1:300. It features nearly 2,810 elements and is 87 cm long. Thanks to the use of the latest available elements and advanced construction techniques, the model accurately reflects the proportions of the historical ship and retains all essential elements, including the original, very distinctive camouflage. It includes numerous movable parts such as propellers, rudders, rotating turrets, and gun barrels that can be raised and lowered. The set also includes a very stable and aesthetic black stand with a plaque displaying the name of the ship.
