Long before humanity ruled the Earth, there were other great civilizations. No one knows whether it was natural disasters, wars, or their own hubris that led to their downfall. Today, their stories are known to only a few, yet within them lies the key to saving humanity. To protect the world from the looming shadow of the Great Old Ones, fearless investigators must uncover the secrets of forgotten knowledge.

The Forgotten Knowledge expansion includes a new Great Old One as well as new mystery cards for all existing Great Old Ones, hundreds of new encounters, artifacts, supports, and spells that the investigators can use to confront the Great Old One.
