After a long journey from Mars, for the first time on Earth: the Yip Yip! Yip Yips, sometimes just called "Martians," are the curious Sesame Street aliens who are constantly fascinated by the most ordinary things and try to figure out what they are for with lots of "yip yip."

The costume has no buttons or other fasteners and is simply thrown on like a sack. The inside of the head is shaped like a cap, ensuring that the costume doesn't slip off easily. The black mouth opening is made of mesh fabric, providing a good view outside. The "lower lip" of the Yip Yips is thickened, allowing it to be moved up and down with the hands to create funny expressions. The costume features hidden side slits through which the arms can be inserted if needed. The antennas next to the large eyes can also be bent like pipe cleaners.
