"NG" stands for Next Generation, and it truly is – the successor to our tried-and-true and very popular FunCub. The flight characteristics and handling have been further improved. The FUNCUB NG is extremely forgiving, impresses with its lightness, is very agile, and can also be used for towing and aerobatics. Even knife-edge flight and torque rolls are possible, thanks to the ROXXY motor that comes standard, which provides sufficient power reserves. The FUNCUB NG is excellent for beginner training and delights both young and old alike. Like its predecessor, it has a wingspan of 1.4 m and detachable wings. New features include braced wings. The model can fly without braces, but for aerobatics, it is recommended to install them. With its large wheels and new landing gear, the FUNCUB can take off and land confidently on almost any terrain, just like its little sister, the FunnyCub. The internal fuselage construction has been completely redesigned, with the motor now mounted via the rear wall, and the load transfer from the landing gear, motor mount, and battery attachment occurs centrally through a fiberglass square tube.
