and seek to protect the forest by extinguishing the flames, planting trees, or awakening the forest's guardian. Who will succeed in putting Onibi to flight? In each round, players - each in turn - reveal cards from their decks that show different forest creatures. These helpful forest creatures bring with them various elements. But among the animals there are loners, of which not too many should be revealed at once. With the elements, the players can perform one or two actions and thus plant trees, extinguish flames, move on the stone circle to activate various bonuses, attract new animals or obtain magic fragments. At the end of each round, all players must face the remaining flames in the stone circle equally. If they can't fight them off, they must add fire monitors to their deck - grouchy loner animals that don't contribute any elements. The only way to get rid of them is with magic fragments. The game ends as soon as one person manages to fulfill one of the three possible victory conditions. Living Forest is an upscale family game with push-your-luck mechanism and beautiful illustrations. Although all players are working towards a common goal, only one person can win in the end.
